Hi ya'll! Please visit my closet on Poshmark, where you can buy and sell Luxury clothing!

Welcome new poshers! A couple of starter tips, but please ask away! When listing the items in your closet, make sure they are clean and ironed. Take good pics in well lit areas. Pay attention to what's in the background of the pics so potential buyers know what item is for sale in the listing. Make sure you describe your item as well as possible and take several photos with different views. Once posted, "Like" your listing. That starts the popularity of your item in the feed. Then, be sure to share your closet items several times a day and to the parties.

Next tip: how to gain followers...there are several initial actions you can take to increase your followers. Under the Feed button, you can search for people, every hour Suggested Users change, so be sure to Follow them. You can also join Following Games like the one in my closet. There are many others you can search for. Then you can also follow people by those following others. Many poshers will follow you back when you follow them. The other effective method I've found has been to join a share group. Closets that follow all posh rules are eligible to participate and your items are shared to the followers of those participating in the share group that night. BTW if someone shares an item of yours, it's courteous to share back

To add to that if you are sharing someone else's closet you should ONLY share to your followers NOT parties. The reason for this is an item can only be shared to a party once so if you share it to the party and the person doesn't know and shares her closet to the party it's a waste of shares, they don't show up anywhere.

Poshers seek out those hosting parties. In advance of the parties (far in advance as you can), reach to the host, let them know you have a closet that complies with all posh rules and you'd like them to take a look for a possible host pick and then share the heck out of their closet listings. Another option is rather than asking directly, just share their listings like crazy. That will still get their attention. Just know, they are being inundated by tons of other poshers like yourself so their response may be slow. In addition, you may not know if they selected your item until the night of the party. You have to share your items in to the party and wait to see if any of your items were selected. If one is, then whoopee! You bask in the honor and glory. Many people will congratulate you. Be on the ready to respond to them and share back! That's all there is to it.

Here are the types of things you can do at parties...1. Always share your closet to the party (the night time party allows all categories), daytime parties only allow certain designers or categories. 2. Shop the party. There are different tabs at the top, so you can check out different showrooms. 3. Check out the host picks. Here's another way to see what's hot. You can have your "party themed" congratulatory message for those who have items selected as host picks. You can either leave them that message in their new HP item or share that HP item or both. Sharing those items is also a good way to get your closet items exposure since those poshers will visit your closet and typically select an item to share to their followers too! 4. If in your browsing you see poshers you aren't following yet, you can follow them. Clearly, they are active poshers

if an item doesn't sell can you delete the post? Thank you.
Yes, as long as the item hasn't sold, you can edit the listing or delete it. In fact, I had a couple of belts I had listed but lost a little weight and they fit again, so I deleted the listings. But, once an item has sold, you can no longer edit or delete it. I've not been on posh a very long time, however, I've seen items finally sell in closets a year later, so you may want to be patient. Perhaps your buyer hasn't found you yet. I bought some beautiful designer items that had been in closets a year and I've only been on posh since July. So, I'd say either patience, drop your price for rapid sale and share, share, share or delete and donate.

Sharing is an important element to getting your listings noticed. Sharing is also the preferred way that other poshers wish to be thanked when they share listings from your closet. Here's how it works. You gain followers. When you share your listings, those listings get posted to the Newsfeed of your followers. So the more followers you have, the more people can potentially see your listings. By sharing listings of others to your followers, they in turn will thank you for sharing their listings by sharing back to their followers. When that happens, it generates interest and you gain more followers. It was recommended to me that I share my own listings at least 3 times a day plus to any parties. Now, you can also share your closet to Facebook, Twitter, you can text listings or email them in SMS or do any of that for others. If you find a listing that a family member or friend may be interested in, you could share it to them. There are groups of poshers that have formed share groups. They are organized at set times of the day or evening and anyone who's closet follows all posh rules can participate. I am a member of a group that shares every evening of the week. New members sign up on the new member listing in each of the 3 closets that host our share group...@justfabulous32 hosts Sunday, Monday and Friday evenings, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings are hosted out of @vanessa_03 closet and I host Saturday evenings from my closet. When you share during the share group, you share listings from the closets that have signed up in the share group for that night and that the share group host has notified you as approved to share from. Then you share THEIR listings. Their listings will share to your followers and while that's happening, they will be sharing your listings to their followers, so your listings will go to he News feeds of hundreds of thousands of poshers. It's a very powerful mechanism for marketing your closet. I would recommend it. Most of the poshers in our share group have attained Suggested User status and have or are about to host parties as a result of this share group activity.

I use a variety of different apps for creating my closet listings depending upon what I need to do. Here are the ones I use most frequently: InstaCollageFREE, SquareSize, YourMoments and basic editing in the apple Photos app.

Bras NWT are definitely allowed but if the tags have been cut off, they are NOT allowed. The same holds true for bathing suits....tops or bottoms. No tags, not allowed. For barrettes, hair ands etc. yes they are also allowed but hair extensions are NOT. If you have odd fashion items that aren't explicitly identified on the Poshmark Rules, you can always seek guidance from them by sending them an email through the Poshmark Support Center. They can give you definitive answers for any unusual fashion items and can provide that "official" word. I hope that helps. If you have any other questions in the future, don't hesitate ask.
